The Watergardens at Canberra is the larger of the two plots on Canberra Drive and was awarded URA. This is after the developer submitted the highest bid of US$270.2 million, or after the site’s 650 PSF PPR has been included in the government land sales (GLS) program.
UIC’s wholly-owned subsidiary UOL Venture Investment and Kheng Leong Company Pte Ltd jointly own United Venture Development. UOL’s UDV owns 50% of the shares, and the remaining shares are shared between UIC and Kheng Leong Company on a 30:20 ratio.
The total land area of The Watergardens at Canberra is 27,566.1 square meters, and GFA is 38,593 square meters. It is planned to accommodate a maximum of 455 units, with a suitable height of 5 layers or 35 to 50 meters. The site involved a total of 4 proposals. The second top bid was US$257.9 million and came from a partnership between MCC Land (Singapore) and Greatview Group. CSC Land Group (Singapore) has submitted a bid price of at least US$240 million.
